Kelsey and Robert were some of the sweetest people I’ve worked with. We had a beautiful evening in Island Park getting some of the beautiful views and capturing the details of their love in their formal session. As I traveled from Idaho Falls to Island Park, the weather was crazy. Sunny one minute, pouring rain the other; we we were so pleased when we started our session together to have beautiful sunshine and the sweet smells that come after rain (one of my most favorite things after a bride and groom. :D) It was a wonderful summer evening to capture the last details of their wedding in a place special to their hearts: Island Park, Idaho.

    Robert and Kelsey opted to see each other for the first time on their wedding day. And what a sweet moment it was! As their officiant said at the time, “We all deserve to have someone look at us like Robert looks at Kelsey.” And I agree! I have loved getting to know these two. They way the see each other and their story makes me smile and want to love my own husband just as sweetly. That’s the wonderful thing about love! Kelsey and Robert remind me that wonderful, magical things can come from the hard times of our lives. I am truly honored that I got to witness their wedding. They got married in a backyard wedding. Kelsey’s father is “Big Jud” and the most exceptional cook. They had a true Italian lunch that knocked my socks off and then the family worked together to get everything finalized for the simple, but emotional and powerful, wedding between Robert and Kelsey under the trees. I have the best job in the world capturing people’s most precious moments and Robert and Kelsey’s love will be one that will stay with me. Thank you so much you two for trusting me, treating me like a friend, and being so fun to work with!! Welcome to some of the best years of your life!
