The Idaho Falls LDS Temple

The Idaho Falls Temple is the closest to where I live and I love photographing it. I have the honor of doing dozens of weddings at the Idaho Falls Temple and I know the temple grounds well. And though Chelsea and Bryce did a formal session (probably one of my favorites!) with the Mantua poppies before their wedding, we were able to spend a few minutes after their sealing/ceremony getting images of them with the Idaho Falls Temple. It was a tricky part of the day where the sun is at its highest and difficult to get shadows off of faces, plus a good shot of the temple, but I know how to shoot that temple any time of day. I love how each wedding and session there is unique. And I love how Chelsea and Bryce’s families were there for them throughout the day.

I love the grounds around the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They do an immaculate job with flowers, plus the large trees are stunning. I just love the tulips in the spring at the temple.

Pyper’s Barn Wedding Venue in Idaho Falls

Chelsea and Bryce had their wedding reception at Pyper’s Barn in Idaho Falls. As you have seen, their color palette was bold red roses, which I feel is such a classy element. They had Paisley Cakes do their wedding cake and I love that most of my bride’s and groom’s have a cake fight. (Might be an unpopular opinion, but I did it at my wedding. I think it shows fun in the relationship.)

After their LDS ceremony, and spending about 20 minutes doing some formals around the temple, as well as family formals. We headed to their reception. I love Pyper’s Barn because it is a clean, elegant venue. You can open up the garage doors and have the outside as part of your reception. One of my favorite moments of their reception was Bryce’s mom getting so emotional during their mom-son dance. AND you can’t forget about the motorcycle and sparkler exit. I

Mantua Utah Poppy Formals

I ALWAYS suggest doing a formal session before the wedding. Its a time to get the best lighting on your photos of just the two of you and we can really have time to get some amazing images. Chelsea and Bryce’s formals were so beautiful with the Mantua poppies and I can’t help but share some.
