Recently, I had the privilege of photographing a wedding at Hansen Guest Ranch. This DIY country wedding, planned by Jessica and Hunter, perfectly showcased the venue’s versatility and charm. Jessica and Hunter chose this idyllic setting to exchange vows and celebrate their love surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Idaho’s mountains.

The Perfect Setting for a Country Wedding: Swan Valley

One of the standout features of Hansen Guest Ranch is its 360-degree mountain views, which provide a jaw-dropping backdrop for any event. The venue’s iconic red barn adds a touch of rustic elegance, while the sprawling grounds offer plenty of space for guests to mingle and celebrate and have an amazing dance party like Jessica & Hunter.

For Jessica and Hunter’s wedding, the couple took full advantage of the venue’s natural beauty. They exchanged private vows in a quiet, intimate moment before the ceremony. Later, they held their official ceremony with the majestic Idaho mountains as their backdrop, creating a picture-perfect moment that left their friends and family in awe.

We were able to sneak away for a quick 25 minutes between the dinner and dance party to take advantage of Hansen Guest Ranch’s beautiful views and get some portraits for Jessica and Hunter. Jessica & Hunter’s day was beautiful and I loved capturing the connection that these two had with each other.
