The Rexburg Idaho LDS Temple in Spring

The Rexburg Idaho LDS Temple is renowned for its stunning architecture and serene surroundings. Surrounded by lush greenery and blooming flowers in the springtime, it provides a beautiful setting for the beginning your journey together as a couple. With its commitment to love, faith, and family, the temple offers a meaningful location for couples who share these values. The BYU-I Gardens are close to the temple for photos and these beautiful gardens could not be better. They have greenery, trees, and architecture to delight every artistic eye, as well as my personal favorite orchard. Across from the temple is an open field usually planted with wheat which is iddillic as the Rexburg Idaho LDS Temple as a motifs that is based off of wheat.

I love the beautiful white granite of the Rexburg Temple for family photos and getting those fun moments after the couple is sealed together for eternity.

A Backyard Rexburg Reception with Fun Personal Elements

One of the best ways to keep wedding costs down is by enlisting the help of family and friends. From crafting centerpieces to baking desserts, involving loved ones in the planning process not only reduces expenses but also strengthens bonds and creates lasting memories. I simply loved that Isaac and Alexis’s reception was in their grandparent’s backyard. Not only was the backyard gorgeous, and backed up to a small lake, but it also made it more relaxing for their friends and family to relax and really enjoy each other in a comfortable space.

Hosting your reception in a backyard allows for flexibility in both budget and creativity. Transform the space with string lights, floral arrangements, and rustic décor to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Consider incorporating DIY elements and family heirlooms to add sentimental value to the celebration. Consider hosting a DIY decorating party or potluck-style reception where guests can contribute their talents and favorite dishes, adding a personal touch to the celebration. Isaac and Alexis had a pretzels with a variety of different dips. I came away from that reception with so many smiles and laughs captured on my camera. It was one of my favorite weddings to date.
