Locations Around Idaho Falls to get Family Photos Done

Idaho Falls itself doesn’t offer a lot in terms of places to take photos. We have some beautiful parks like Freeman Park, Tautphaus Park, a few tree farms, and around the Snake River. But some of my favorite locations to get family photos done are within a hour drive of Idaho Falls, notably Kelly Canyon, Swan Valley, Ririe Reservoir, places with mountains, tree, and beautiful settings. I’m an adventurer and I love finding places where your family can be showcased against beautiful backdrops.

We took this beautiful family session up in the Kelly Canyon mountains. It was a little cold, but we kept the kids playing and laughing and we did lot of cuddles. I loved all the laughs and fun we had.
