Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons always takes me by surprise. My home is Idaho Falls and I’m pretty familiar with the mountains around the Southeast Idaho area since I spend time climbing around them with brides and grooms regularly. Jackson though, oh Jackson and the Tetons, and Grand Teton National Park, they just leave me in awe. You can not go wrong with planning your photo session at Grand Teton National Park.
Favorite Spots in Grand Teton National Park
As you head towards the park, you can’t help but see the Tetons and their peaks. However there are definitely some great locations to take photos in and out of the park. Schwabacher’s Landing to great spot to get a nice full view of the Tetons and moved into the park as the sun dipped down. There are other views outside the park like Mormon Row and Glacier View Turnout. Heading into the park, you need to pull off as much as you can, and be sure to check out Jenny Lake.
The Tetons can be tricker to get when the sun is bright and hot. In the summer, the smoke can make it difficult for the peaks to show up. But right around sunset, those Teton peaks shine. Plan on staying another 30 minutes after sunset for the best, deepest blues.
Brielle and Cade Vibing
Brielle and Cade have such a nice, comfortable chemistry. I love Cade’s laugh and smile. The way he looks at Brielle is heart melting. They will be married this Friday, April 26th in the Idaho Falls Temple. Brielle’s dress from Margene’s Bridal in Idaho Falls and her bouquet from Staker’s Floral, were perfect for the Tetons. I love the sharp, yet soft lace details of her train.
Enjoy these two! I loved working with them!
