Island Park in the spring is amazing. You have all the rustic nature of the pine trees, the new smell of fresh soil, and then the earth just goes and celebrates with all these glorious flowers–purples, pink, white. Gah! This session was such a fun surprise. Not to mention that Ashley and Brady have the best, most playful, giddy love that was so fun to capture on camera. This is what I love about engagements, its so playful and a representation of the couple. Brady hates photos and has this habit of not looking directly at the camera– I see you Brady. 😉 But with Ashley, let’s admit it was mostly Ashley, we got him smiling. There is definitely something special about new love. I so appreciate Ashley and Brady being willing to travel from Idaho Falls to do some engagements in Island Park. I really love these two. I was so honored to be part of their wedding day.

Ashley’s family were our neighbors in my husband’s and I’s first house. And though I have done their family’s photos for years (thank you so much, I love you guys), when I think of the Judy’s I think of generosity. Being new to DIY, my husband and I undertook the project of redoing our back deck area with gusto. Halfway into it, we were out of money and in a royal mess. We had to reroute some sprinklers and were completely clueless. The Judys showed up with all their strong hands and knowledge and simply served us by pulling pipes. I will never forget it. It meant soooo much to us. The Judy’s have also done some incredible restoration work for us. If you ever need anyone to help with water damage, carpet cleaning, or remodel work I can not recommend TOBIN RESTORATION COMPANY in Idaho Falls enough. The people who work there and own it are top notch. Brady now works there as a project manager so I can attest they really do have the best.
