Braidan and Alley reached out to me to do their engagements in Driggs, Idaho. I’ve done one other session there so I’m not super familiar with the town. However, going a few minutes early to scout around, I came away believing that you can’t go wrong with planning any kind of session in Driggs. It’s GORGEOUS!! The Tetons make a beautiful backdrop and it’s still in Idaho, so the drive is a lot better. Because the sun doesn’t set behind the Tetons like it does on the Wyoming side, you have to wait until right before sunset. But let me tell you the sunset light delivered this gorgeous light and I was in photographer heaven! Wait for picture overload!
But enough about Driggs. Let me tell you about Braidan and Alley. They have a fun, sweet, bubbly, easy love. As a wedding photographer, I meet lots of couples. Each couple has a different dynamic and it’s interesting to see how they fit together. Alley and Braidan are the cutest. They are easy and comfortable with each other and I adore them. You can’t help but love them after spending time with them. Quick to smile, laugh, and cuddle with each other they make it easy to get natural reactions on camera. More about them below. Braidan and Alley are high school sweethearts! Braidan went to the east coast for the LDS mission and when he got back he managed to surprise Alley with his proposal at the Rexburg Temple. I love it when the proposal is a surprise. (My husband never manages to surprises me. Haha.) Alley and I also bonded over the fact that she is leaving soon with the International Language Program to Dominican Republic to teach English. I did ILP when I was in college and went to China to teach English. It was a wonderful experience and I learned so much. I think travel is the greatest experience. I’m excited for Alley and the wonderful lessons that she is going to have. Good luck girl! And thank you to both Braidan and Alley for letting me capture their love and the Tetons. <3 I was literally dancing around I was so excited.
